Olympia is always one of our favourite shows and this year saw the return of Donny. Our very sweet brown and white boy broke his hip this time last year and we weren't sure if he would be able to walk again let alone be shown.

He has amazed us with his recovery. He had a brilliant day loving all the attention and he looked fantastic. He won his first PREMIER CERTIFICATE and went on to be awarded BEST OF BRED beating some very good cats.

We also took the lovely Desdemona who had a really good day as well. She won the IMPERIAL CERTIFICATE, GRAND PREMIER CERTIFICATE and BEST OF BREED. Not bad for a days work!!

We travelled to Birmingham the day before the show with all the cats and checked into the Hilton for the night. The cats thought this was great fun!! We had a lovely night and tried not to drink too much, failing miserably of course!!!! The day started well with Araminta being awarded her 1st UK GRAND CHAMPION certificate.

Luigi then followed with the GRAND CHALLENGE certificate and theN VALENTINO RECEIVED HIS 3RD challenge CERTIFICATE which made him up to CHAMPION! At this point we thought the day could not get any better. We went to watch COONTASTIC XAVIER being judged in his kitten class. He did really well winning his class and also being awarded BEST OF BREED.

This qualified him for best of variety judging. At this point he had to be judged against the top 16 kittens in the SLH section. There were some very beautiful kittens competing for this award but Sam looked fantastic. When the judge awarded him BEST OF VARIETY SLH KITTEN we were all ecstatic, not sure whether to laugh or cry!! He then had to go up on stage in front of 100's of people to be judges by a panel of 3 judges for BEST KITTEN. He seemed to love all the attention and seemd completely unaware of the fuss he was causing!!

We on the other hand were on the point of passing out!!! He was judged against the top 6 kittens from the other sections and they slowly took the kittens away one by one until only Sam and one other kitten were left. When he won I think the cheers and screams were heard for miles!!!! Sam is such a special kitten to us as he was one of the litter we handreared. Shortly before the Supreme his mum Ultra Wild was very ill and had to be neutered.

So he is a one off - there will never be another Sam in any shape or form! We can only take part of the credit for his amazing successes to date. He is owned and loved Sue WIlkinson. He is always immaculately presented and shines with the love he receives. Thank you so much Sue for giving Sam the best home ever.

THis day has to be the pinnacle of our breeding program so far. We will be on cloud 9 for a very long time!!

COONTASTIC XAVIER had a wonderful day in Wales today winning 1st and best of breed for the 4th time in a row!!!!

He also went on to have a red card day. An amazing day for a 6 month old kitten. A massive thank you to Sue Wilkinson, Sam's very proud owner.

The very lovely CH COONTASTIC LUIGI had a very good day not only winning Best of Breed but also being awarded the trophy for the BEST MAINE COON ADULT IN SHOW. We are very proud of this special boy.

Also flying the Coontastic flag today was COONTASTIC THIERRY who had a very good day winning 1st and Best of Breed. Thierry is another of the litter that included Xavier, that we handreared.

Well done to his owner Liz Allen whom I know loves him to bits and is very proud of him.

What a fantastic day! Desdemona won her first Imperial Grand Premier Certificate beating some very very strong compeition. She also won the Grand Premier certificate, best of breed and went onto win BEST IN SHOW SLH.

To cap it all she was the Overall winner of the Crystal Clear Litter pearls heats and has now qualified for the grand final to be held at Olympia in December. Dessie is only the second Maine Coon to do this, the first being her stable mate Rafaella!

We travelled to Chepstow in Wales for this show and it was a journey worth making!! Our beautiful Desdemona was awarded the Reserve Imperial Grand Premier Certificate, Best of Breed and went on to win all her side classes. Araminta won yet another Grand certificate and won all her side classes as well and went on to be nominated for Best in Show.

We also took a fourteen week old kitten out of Bonny x Comanche called Gabriella. It was her first show and what a stir she caused!!!! She won 1st in her open class, Best of Breed and won 3 of her side classes. Then she went on to be nominated for best in show kitten!! She spent the day playing and purring and generally showing off to everyone.

We were so pleased with all our girls and very proud!

ny congratulations to CHAMPION COONTASTIC LUIGI who gained his title today in three straight shows!!! He had a wonderful time winning all but one of his side classes and gaining Best of Breed as well.

Both Luigi and Rafaella made the trip to Manchester and both had a great day. They both gained their first CC's and Luigi went on to beat his sister for Best of Breed! Well done to both of them.

We travelled with dessie to the Irish Supreme once again this spring and had yet another wonderful weekend in Dublin. Dessie attained the new title of UK GRAND CHAMPION & INTERNATIONAL GRAND PREMIER JAKATTA DESDEMONA.

She continues to hold more titles than any other Maine Coon ever to be shown under the GCCF. She went on to win Best in Show SLH Neuter. We are so proud of her and would like to thank everyone who made our time in Ireland so enjoyable.

Both COONTASTIC LUIGI and COONTASTIC RAFAELLA travelled to Reading for this show as it was their last show as kittens. What a wonderful day we had. Raffy and Luigi both won their open classes and then had to fight it out between them for Best of Breed.

Once again the tables were turned and this time it was Luigi who came out on top! But later in the day Raffy became the overal winner of the 'Crystal Clear Litter Pearl Stakes', beating all the other cats in her section and then beating all the other breeds!

These are qualifying rounds for the Grand Final which will take place at the National Cat Club Show in December at Olympia. A wonderful end to both their kitten careers and we look forward to showing both of these cats as Adults.
